Chikan Embroidered Foliage Cushion by V&A in Green

This cushion design of trailing leaves and branches was inspired by a length of embroidered muslin (chikankari) housed in the V&A's Asia collection. It is most likely from Dhaka, Bangladesh, and dates back to about 1855–79. Presenting an embroidered foliage design to the front, finished with a plain reverse, all in a green colourway. Feather filled, crafted with 100% cotton velvet for a cosy touch. Place on your favourite armchair, or pair with the matching bedding set to complete the look. Machine washable.
