The design and pattern of this runner has been taken from old Caucasian rugs. Beautifully crafted with the finest wool yarns which have been hand spun and dyed using only natural dyes such as cochineal and indigo, adding to the dramatic and vibrant appearance. Once dyed and hand knotted on a cotton warp base in Afghanistan this rug has been transported over to Pakistan where it has been expertly finished including washing and trimming.
